Face of the Day With the Zoeva Warm Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette - Makeup and Beauty Blog
As promised, I'm dorsum with a face of the day using those Zoeva goodies we talked about.
I did 1 of my favorite makeup looks — softly, sparkly eyes, glowy skin and pink lips. This is pretty much my become-to makeup wait, so I like to keep information technology interesting by trying out and incorporating new products and formulas.
For my optics, I used two shades from the Zoeva Warm Spectrum eyeshadow palette (indicated below):
Whenever I try new eyeshadows, I don't apply primer for the get-go time because I like to get a experience for how they blend and wearable without any aid. I loved how pigmented and easy to blend these shadows were, but they could accept used the boost of a primer, because I noticed some fading every bit the day wore on.
The remainder of my eye makeup was pretty simple. I just used my favorite Too Faced Meliorate Than Sex Mascara and Dior Diorshow Brow Styler Gel (This is one of my current favorite forehead products! Y'all can see it in action in this Date Night Makeup Tutorial).
For skin, I applied NARS The Multiple inSouth Embankmentalong my cheekbones and also applied NARS The Multiple inPuerto Vallarta around my mouth to color-correct before adding my foundation. This is a new fob that I learned when I got my makeup done at the NARS bazaar in San Francisco recently. I've never used these products in this way earlier and actually liked how information technology turned out!
For foundation, I used PUR Cosmetics HydraFluid Water Serum Foundation inTan, which I reviewed previously here. I still really like this foundation, although in the futurity I'd add a touch of powder. These photos were taken after a few hours of habiliment, and I got actress "glowy" ;-).
For blush, I used the Zoeva Luxe Color Blush inCalled-for Up, which is a corking neutral blush on me. Information technology looks very orange/peach in the pan, only when applied lightly, it's a very subtle blush. This is quite pigmented, though, then it would be easy to build up for more vibrancy.
And, considering I similar to become overboard with my highlighter, I lightly dusted Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in So Hollywood over my cheekbones. I Beloved this highlighter and like to apply it every chance I get.
Concluding, I used the Glo Minerals Suede Matte Crayon inDemure on my lips. This color is a great "my lips but better" shade, and it'south then comfortable and like shooting fish in a barrel to apply. I featured this lipstick in my annual leap roundup of pink lipsticks, and it'southward get something I reach for pretty oftentimes.
Overall, I actually like the Zoeva products I used hither, and I'll definitely exist using both the eyeshadow palette and the chroma in more looks!
The Zoeva Warm Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette is available at Zoeva for $38, and the Luxe Color Blush is $11.80.
